We provide funds for scholarships, digging wells, emergency medical support and other projects to empower poor communities.
Inspired by isaiah 58:6-7
“The kind of fasting I want is this: Remove the chains of oppression and the yoke of injustice, and let the oppressed go free. Share your food with the hungry and open your homes to the homeless poor. Give clothes to those who have nothing to wear, and do not refuse to help your own relatives. Then my favor will shine on you like the morning sun, and your wounds will be quickly healed. I will always be with you to save you; my presence will protect you on every side. When you pray, I will answer you. When you call to me, I will respond. If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; if you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of noon. And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things.”
Who We Are
Ghana
In Ghana we support scholarships, digging of wells, and critical health needs. We partner with Fr. Beyuo Kuukole to identify the needs in Ghana.
Currently we are supporting fundraising efforts to build a multipurpose center in a rural village Ghana that will be used for Mass and education classrooms. Learn more here.
East Timor
Faith and Support Together supports students in East Timor so that they can continue their education through high school and college. In East Timor it is difficult for many students to go to school, even elementary, because parents often cannot pay even the very minimal fees. Rural students often have to travel long distances or quit when they get to middle school because there is not a school nearby. Faith and Support Together scholarships support about 40 students each year in East Timor. We have been supporting students in East Timor since 2006.
